        "Skip Beat!" is a TV series based on the same name Japanese manga. It aired on TV on 2011. Honestly, I watched this drama just because of the manga at first, but I really like it after all. The main actress really made the character alive just like the manga.

         The drama is about a girl, Gong Xi who abandoned by her mother since she was small in an spring water hotel and the owners of the hotel took care of her and trained her to be a model housewife in order to make her and their only son, Bu Po Shang get married when they grow up. She loves Shang since they was small and follows him everywhere. After they graduated from high school, Shang asks Gong Xi to go to Taipei to chase for his dream, becoming a famous artist. Gong Xi agrees immediately without thinking a bit. In Taipei, Gong Xi works three jobs in the same time to support their household and to let Shang stays home and composes songs. He becomes a famous singer right after his first debut and he starts to avoiding Gong Xi because he thinks that she is an old-fashion girl. One day, Gong Xi goes to Shang's company to deliver lunch for him and she overheard Shang says to his manager that he just sees Gong Xi as to maid. Gong Xi pisses off and swears that she will take her revenge on him by becoming a artist that more famous than him. She uses all ways to get into the Taiwan largest talent agency where she meets Lian, the most favorite artist voted by audiences of whole country. Lian pays attention on Gong Xi right at the beginning when she tries to get into the company because he thinks that she is weird and interesting. Gong Xi fails when she attends the test to get in the training program of the company but the chairman of the company lets her join the company in a new department, Love Me club, that is created because of her. Her job is accomplish the order that whoever asks her to get the scores so she can debut as an artist. Lian is picking on her at first because he doesn't agree with her purpose, taking revenge on Bu Po Shang. However, after he sees all of her fortitude and recognize her talent at acting, he changes his point of view about her and starts to help her to improve her acting career. While they are filming a TV series together, Lian discover his love for Gong Xi and he tries to resist it because he always thinks that he doesn't deserve to love or to be loved by anyone. Gong Xi is the one that make him starts to open his heart to feel love and care. 

       I love this drama and all the characters in the drama. There is some people who always picking on others to get what they want but they are not bad. They just to childish and stubborn to accept their deficiencies. I love the manga more, of course, but this drama is good enough in my opinion. The main actress portrayed the character impressively. 

My Name is Kim Sam Soon

           My name is Kim Sam Soon is a Korean drama produced in 2005. This drama is a big hit when it aired on TV with a 37.6%  average viewership rating and make is the 26th highest rated Korean drama of all time. the drama also won a lot of awards, not only the drama itself but the actors also. The main actress in the drama is Kim Sun Ah who gained 15 pounds just to fit the character in the drama. This is known as the Korean version of Bridget Jones Dairy. 
          The drama is about Kim Sam Soon, a 30 years old lady who has a brash and straight forward personality. She always feels less self-esteem about her weight and her old-fashion name, Sam Soon. She has been making fun of by others when they know her name. Her biggest passion is pastry and she is a really talented baker. She saved up money to go France to be trained to be a patisserie. She was dumped by her boyfriend and lost her job at the same day on Christmas Eve. When she feels humiliated and lost, she bumps in Jin Heon, one of the witness of her break up scene in male restroom. After a few misunderstanding, he discovers her talent and hires her to be pastry chef in his upscale French restaurant. Under the pressure of Jin Heon's mother, he convinces Sam Soon to sign a contract to be his pretend girlfriend to avoid all the blind dated arranges whom his mother makes him go. Because Sam Soon needs money to save her mother house, she decides to sign the contract. Like all the motif of love story, they are attracted to each other after a while spending time together. But when they think things is working out between them, Jin Heon's ex-girlfriend come back from the U.S and wants him back. After a lot of tears and explaining, they are back together. However, Jin Heon finally knows that where his heart belong to, that the one he actually in love is Sam Soon. He confesses his love to Sam Soon and proves for her mother and sister that he is really love her. They are dating happily together. 

        This drama is really really hilarious. I could not stop laughing when I watched it. This is a really really good drama, not only I love it, people who I know love it too, really!!
